Sync Level Lost
Sync Level Lost celebrates the endurance of human connection and expressive freedom against forces that constrain and manipulate our spirits. For dancefloors celebrating the liberation of apocalypse, this track has roots in classic EBM rhythms with modern production flair. Sparse vocals call out from the depths of digital mayhem only to be subsumed in the technological networks manufactured to consume humanity.
Barbaric Sympathy
A meditation on the natural cruelty of the human condition, Barbaric Sympathy slinks into the psyche through textured rhythms, synthetic choirs, and elevated pads, supported by a rolling-thunder bassline. A downtempo track for reflective hours.
Empty Entreaties
At the altar of advanced technologies, Empty Entreaties asks what we have lost. The answer: “Not all sacrifices are noble, but all sacrifices reveal more desire.” This track lifts the tempo and invites the inner spirit to surface through mechanical movements and digital dances.
Recalibrate R-13.145
Firmly believing that art should deepen life’s mysteries, not provide answers, Luct Melod concludes the EP with a question: “Do these noises mean anything?” Recalibrate R-13.145 injects electro swing into cold EBM rhythms for a final recalibration for the work ahead.
Vinyl Details
A single run of 250 records on 180 gram vinyl pressed by SMASHED PLASTIC in Chicago, IL, is being distributed to brick-and-mortar record shops, primarily in Illinois and other locales in Midwest USA. A limited number will be made available online.
Digital Details
There are no plans to release this EP on streaming platforms, such as Spotify and Amazon Music, as they do not equitably support artists and invest in anti-democratic and violent colonialist destruction worldwide,
